Important terms:

Maximum Coverage amount: The maximum amount the insurance provider will pay for a claim of this type

Deductible: The amount the insured (the dog sitter) will have to pay out of pocket before the insurance cover starts. So, when a claim is made, the deductible is subtracted from the total claim amount, and the insurance company covers the remaining amount up to the maximum. Our insurance partner will intervene from the first euro for any bodily injury, but will apply a deductible of EUR 375 on any material or financial damage a dog sitter is found responsible for. In case the dog sitter causes damage to the dog being cared for, a deductible of €150 would apply. This means the dog sitter would need to pay the first 150 euros for the treatment/care/compensation and our insurance provider would pay the rest.
